and Nutrition Management |
The organic content
of the soil on our Enviro farms is augmented using liberal doses of
compost/farmyard manure and through cover crops such as daincha, sunhemp
and pulses that fix nitrogen in the atmosphere and also provide biomass.
Additional nutrient requirements are met through use of neem and various
de-oiled vegetable cakes.

Pest and Disease Management
Our eco-friendly organic pest management programme employs various techniques
that include the creation of a natural habitat for beneficial pests and
propagation of beneficial insectaries for release into the ecosystem.
Naturally occurring plant extracts are also used as last resorts where
other non-obtrusive methods fail to deliver.

Enviro Farms
encourages poly-culture, and avoids monoculture. Crop rotation also
breaks the pest cycle, reducing the incidence of pests and diseases.
When pest incidence threatens to affect the crop substantially, biological
pest and disease control measures are used. |

eliminate the risk of chemical pesticide hazards in the crops, IEEFL
has developed and is marketing a range of organic
inputs comprising herbal crop protectors & stimulators, liquid
manure and compost, under the ORGANO brand. |
